Last week I got an email from 1&1 Hosting, billing me for another 6 months of service. 6 days later, I read it again and noticed the part where it said The amount shown will be debited from your credit card on file in the next 7 days.
Then, I freaked. Especially, since I don’t want to pay the $25 ’cause I wasn’t keeping up my site and because it wasn’t my credit card. So, I ended up talking to some techy on the phone who ended up cancelling my contract (sad, but I didn’t want to pay that much) and told me I did not owe anything.
Then, of course, we have company over for a few days and my mom gets an email about how her account was charged $25 from 1&1, and I had to call them back again. Long story short, the mysterious “extra days of hosting” cost me about $1.74 and I’m no longer hosted.
However, I wanted to keep a blog going and decided on WordPress, since that’s what I stuck my mom with

HI I'm Mary, and I am a homeschooled high school senior. I was born and raised in a Chicago suburb of 30,000 people, I now live with my family beyond on the "cheddar curtain" in small town with a population of 10,000 people.

Aha, I have rediscovered you!
(If you’re wondering, it was via your comment on Jess’s site (SC). I was wondering what happened to e2m.

Yeah, I had some problems with my hosting
So how have you been? How’s school going?

*ducks* Heh, I’m doing pretty well, college has been going decently (although I have a 7:45-9:45pm class next semester T_T). I’m still on break, and go back the 26th; I’ve been passing my time web surfing and doing the occasional bit of baking. How’ve you been?

Web surfing + baking = love. lol The question is…what have you been baking? (My baking skills are limited to deserts)
Sorry about that one class :O Sucks.
Other than that, I’m glad to hear you’re doing well! I gave you a shoutout on Jess’s blog a few posts back, but I didn’t know if you’d see it or not
I’ve been pretty good. Mostly keeping up with work, school, violin and of course blogging. (There’s also my newfound addiction to Hulu.com, but I won’t go there)
Has the weather been holding up for you? Or is it uber cold?

I’ve made sugar cookies, blueberry muffins, and chocolate chip cookies thus far (the last were the best tasting)! I’m thinking I’ll bake another batch of the muffins so I can finish off the butter we have. I do need some new ideas, though…
Heh, now I went and combed through her comments to see where you did that… found it! I hadn’t seen it before.
Weather’s been alright, I suppose-I can’t say much because I’m almost never out of the house
It snows pretty frequently, but just maybe an inch or two every other dayish, and it’s let down now. It does get pretty cold out, but I’m nice and toasty upstairs.
How about with you? (Also, is Hulu…legal?
)

Hmm…I could probably share a few recipes! I’m going to warn you that almost none of them are healthy. Yesterday I made Monkey Bread for dinner and it was so fun to make.
I know exactly what you mean!! I only leave the house for work or church and the rest of the time I’m bundled up like an eskimo ^-^ Yes, lots of snow :O I haven’t seen so much snow in my life. Still haven’t made a snowman yet, though, how about you?
Oh, and how’s school going for you?
Hulu is legal, I believe. They only leave episodes up for a certain amount of time, according to the show’s network. Plus there’s no downloading
(Because downloading never ends pretty) lol

Ooh, do share!
Perhaps you could email me some. Monkey bread sounds intriguing. XD
I haven’t done anything with the snow, except take a few pictures with my cellphone. I really should go out at some point and get some fresh air, lol. I’m on winter break at the moment (huzzah for month+ long breaks in college!) so I can’t really say much about school, but I was SO close to a 4.0 last semester, just had one A- D: How about with you?
And yes, downloading is shady. I’m so glad my college offers free/severly discounted software (full Adobe suite for $500, $2,000 off list price!
plus a free copy of MS Office).

NICE on the full Adobe suite! I think the best deal I heard was more than that, but you get a whole ton of programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. I’m not sure if it’s the same (it probably is) but just the same, I’m totally jealous of you
lol. Last semester I took two courses and was able to use some of those programs. Neat, but hard if you don’t know how to use em P: All A’s is nothing to be sad about! Congrats!!
This semester I’m back to homeschooling, with violin lessons once a week, and work. So, keeping up is much easier than last semester
I shall email you the monkey bread recipe! And possibly another, as well. Never underestimate the power of a good cookbook >:-)
