Self-trained in HTML and graphic design (image editing) since I was 13, HTML since I was 15, PHP since I was 16 and took two college classes in Graphic and Marketing Communications when I was 17, I now use my mad skillz to help my mom with her site and have also made stuff here and there for some of the sellers on Etsy. (I’m also talented in making lengthy sentences that more-often-than-not don’t make sense)

What exactly is it that I do? I design websites and code them as best as I can, and also make buttons and ads to match the layout. I wouldn’t be able to do this sort of thing if it weren’t for people like Sumaiya, Jess at Swimchick.net, and Kate at Outspoken-Kate.com.

How much do I charge? Debatable, depending on what it is you’d like. Obviously, a site layout would cost more than a simple ad or avatar. Before comitting to anything, I would discuss your ideas and what you’d like via email and then give you a quote. What college training do you have? I took a class called Design One in Graphics and Marketing as well as Graphic Workstations One. In the first, I learned how to draw pencil sketchings of faces and contours of my hand (part one), created an entire business package for my sister’s craft business (included a complete mount-mat-and-flap logo, business card, letterhead, color swatch, envelope, price tags, written summary and graphics standard manual) (part two), and learned to design brochures (also part two). In the second class, I learned how to use the Mac and its various apps and programs.

Do you plan to get further training in Graphic and Marketing Communications? I’d like to get more training, but only for fun. I suppose you could say that I “dropped out” before officially joining the program. As of now, I would like to go in Criminal Justice – Corrections to work with juveniles (or another, very similar career). I can’t picture myself sitting at a desk 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. People who can do that are amazing.

If I need help with coding, FTP, setting up WordPress, or another program, could I contact you for help? Certainly! I’m not fully educated on all things WordPress and coding, but I will certainly try my best to help you. Free of charge, too, cause I’m cool like that.
